Supplier / Partner Support Good communication skills vital Very demanding environment Great training programme Lots of chance of progression £22,000  Spec:  To ensure the database is correct and the ongoing integrity of the data received from our suppliers is entered by the deadlines set. Responsible for negotiating improved lead-times in line with our business requirements this is a key role in the supply chain management, liaising daily with the all departments who have a part in servicing our customers.  Aim is to ensure on time delivery to support existing customer requirements or to proactively ensure parts are on the shelf to drive sales through inventory availability. The ability to communicate effectively and work within a pressurised environment whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy, professionalism and organisation is essential.  PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES  1.	To regularly maintain supplier purchase orders, ensuring the provision of delivery information is accurate and up-to date. 2.	Liaise where appropriate with the internal teams to ensure any order amendments or queries are dealt with efficiently. 3.	To drive supplier relations, enhancing communication and focusing on service improvements  4.	Negotiate with supplier base, to improve delivery of product 5.	Proactively identify problematic orders, product areas, suppliers and work on both short and long term solutions to address them. 6.	To respond in a timely manner to the relevant departments with order status information.  7.	Providing a first class customer service level to all internal and external customers meeting all relevant SOP’s without compromising on quality of work. 8.	Additional projects or duties as management may at times require.
