Meet the Layka Ladies (& dad)

Cara High first stepped into Recruitment in 1999 after temping in a recruitment office. She soon found her feet and secured a permanent position within a commercial agency and proceeded to work her way into management. Cara quickly recognised where she could definitely make a real difference to candidates and clients alike. She loved the buzz of recruitment then and still does today! The comments that Cara has received over the years confirms that her priority to listen sets Layka Recruitment apart, and the feedback that has been received is testimony to what her and her team have achieved and will continue to do so for many years to come.

The driving force behind Cara launching Layka Recruitment in 2011 was to challenge what the industry was fast becoming! She has made sure that there are no KPIs to achieve here, no “numbers game” and is proud that every single client and candidate are as important as each other!

Sally came to the dark side in 2015 and has never looked back since. With this at the forefront of her mind, her major strength is feedback, communication and making you feel at ease with us! After 50 years being very successful in the motor industry, Roy decided to retire around 10 years ago. His daughter [Cara] then started to get him involved with her plans for, a then, fledgling company by asking him to help out with all manner of “little” jobs for her. This support has now grown over the years and he’s now doing “little and big” jobs including IT design and support along with being Cara’s accounts go to person. Roy’s love for all things IT spurred him on to teach himself web design and support. This skill has been put to the test massively this year with Roy leading the whole new branding and website for Layka Recruitment. He’s not in the office every day (he’s normally playing golf) but when a picture needs hanging or accounts need to be in order, he is only a phone call away! Roy’s involvement in the business has helped massively with its success and Cara could not be happier with her Dad’s contribution.
